How
to Recreate Your Future

The power to recreate our future comes from the inside out. The first key lies
within our thoughts: they dictate who we become and what we draw to
ourselves. Negative thoughts and emotions act as a constant drain on our
system. Such thoughts foster a negative self-image causing pain, anger,
even depression. Fortunately, there are a few steps which can be taken to
easily reverse this process.
Each of us has an image of who we are and what's expected of us, together with our own expectations. We weave this image starting the day we are born. It is based on our own feelings, plus contributions from family, peers, and others: all woven into the pattern. Damage to our self-esteem does not occur in an instant. It builds strand-by-strand and can last a lifetime if it's not dealt with. No matter how much we want to forget, or have repressed, these memories live on. Our past drives the decisions we make and how we live in the here and now.
The second key lies in the awareness that we accept others' opinions as truth. Whether or not you're aware of this, at some level you have decided others are right and you're not. Take a moment and ask yourself why should their opinions be yours?
MY
STORY
In 1987 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) which is considered a
progressive condition. I spent the first couple years struggling with the symptoms, the
medications, and depression. It was not until being diagnosed with a
clinical depression that I actively sought help in developing some coping
strategies. Talk therapy helped me learn to handle MS, and as the process
unfolded, I was stunned to discover that what I really needed to deal with was
my own history. [as Carolyn Myss writes, "our
biography becomes our biology."]
I began the work of finding out who I was. My therapist connected me with a specialized kinesiologist - I had no clue as to what that meant, all I knew was that it was supposed to help. Kinesiology, a form of muscle testing, has the ability to tap into the unconscious thoughts and patterns that drive our behaviour. It opened me up in ways that would have taken years to reach through conventional therapy.
Prior to therapy I would have claimed I had a normal happy upbringing. However, as the process of healing unfolded, I realized I had unknowingly been living with post-traumatic stress disorder. I believe now that all the repressed emotions, stress, and grief I had held onto finally manifested as MS.
As I dealt with these unresolved issues, my condition improved. Then a day came, a little over four years ago, when my neurologist said my MS was benign, and I no longer needed to see him. That was an empowering day!
THE
PROCESS
It is widely accepted that trauma and memories of
trauma move from the conscious to the unconscious mind, and this can, in turn,
influence our patterns of behaviour, our attitudes, how we relate to each other and, generally, how we are
in the world.
I believe in addition to the emotional effects, this trauma can also transfer and manifest itself in the body through disease. Healing takes place by identifying the issues, bringing the initial trauma back to consciousness and finally releasing it. From this point, further healing can and does take place on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
As a practitioner it has been my experience that the spiritual component of healing is a key element in the process. Today, I look upon MS as a spiritual gift to me, an awakening of sorts. In an instant, it changed who I was and how I experienced the world. When we are out of alignment on the spiritual level we cannot live life to its full potential.
THE TOOLS
Many of the problems facing us today we've encountered before, but have not been
able to resolve. These situations keep coming into our lives with only the
names and faces changing. Somehow, we keep reliving these 'similar' scenarios
experiencing the same feelings; and naturally the results remain the same. We
need to break this cycle. We start by accessing the hidden beliefs that
drive our learned behaviour, and then defusing them. As a result, we
realize we have choices and can focus our life in any direction we
choose.
Specialized kinesiology is available for anyone who wants to experience an internal shift in their belief system, to overcome any emotional issues, or illness. It enables you to access your hidden beliefs, and it's a gentle, honouring approach to healing.
This healing method empowers people because they discover new tools and how to use them to balance their own energies. Together we try different avenues to realign body, mind and spirit.
This allows you to tap into your inner wisdom. It works by balancing the various energies in the body. I simply provide an array of stimuli to which each individual responds uniquely. Specialized kinesiology helps us to recognize what our keys are (inner wisdom) and enables us to change our belief system, relearning to trust ourselves and reclaim our power.
LIBERATE YOUR
PAST
Long-held emotions and beliefs drive our present existence. Confronting
and releasing them liberates us, leaving us free to move forward, recreating a
new and limitless future. Denied emotions create self-limitations.
The restrictions we place upon ourselves can be made up of our denied emotions,
self-judgments, and our constraints on self-acceptance.
Abandon denial, defuse the negative emotion... magically negative experience dissipates. This journey of healing can be a powerful doorway to transforming your life and yet is achieved in a gentle and effortless manner. Reopen your heart and soar!
